Is my AED cabinet location a good fit for ScoutRMS?

ScoutRMS requires a reliable cellular connection to operate, as it uses built-in cellular technology to communicate device status. Because signal strength can vary throughout a building, even floor to floor, it's important to consider the exact placement of your AED cabinet. Locations such as basements or areas with dense construction materials may impact connectivity. If you're unsure about your planned location or have known connectivity challenges, our team is happy to help review and recommend any adjustments to ensure your system performs as expected.

How does ScoutRMS share AED status information with Arch program management?

ScoutRMS automatically checks your AED and securely transmits status data through a built-in cellular connection. This information is then displayed within Arch, providing visibility into the readiness status of your AED program. Arch uses this data to present key device information, such as readiness status, battery condition, pad expiration dates, and device alerts, helping users monitor their AEDs and identify issues that may require attention.

Can I include items that aren't part of the Total Readiness package?

The Total Readiness packages are designed to cover the key elements needed to support a successful, ready-to-respond program. That said, you're absolutely able to add additional items to further customize your setup. Common additions include pediatric keys, CPR/AED training classes, and choking response devices such as the LifeVac. If you're not sure what may be the best fit for your environment, our team is happy to help recommend options based on your needs.
