Simulaids SMART STAT Basic with iPAD®. This cost-effective patient simulator moves ALS training fully into the students’ vocational environment. Instructors will be able to ascertain the student's skill, knowledge level, and critical thinking aptitude by using the applications provided via the iPad®.
This simulator will operate either in the lab or in the field for determining the student's diagnostic ability. The instructor can transfer student performance records directly to a computer, and scenario event logs can be chronologically stored or printed.
SMART STAT Basic features include an air compressor on board, and also includes a free app from the iTunes Store (SMART STAT). Additional features include storage for students’ performances, spontaneous breathing, pulses, blood pressure, carotid and femoral pulses, normal and emergent heart and lung sounds, 12 pulse points synchronized with the heart, EKG interpretation and cardiac treatment, IV catheterization and infusion, tension pneumothorax treatment, chest tube insertion with simulated drainage, and advanced difficult airway maintenance.
SMART STAT Basic comes with, an iPad®, USB cable, blood pressure cuff, hard carry case, shorts and a supply of replacement parts. An optional battery leg available (407N).
