Weighted Vest for Ruth Lee Adult Training Manikins

This weighted vest allows the user to modify the weight of the training manikin to suit various training demands. Constructed of PVC coated Cordura Nylon, high strength nylon webbing, steel adjuster buckles, and high-grade hook and loop fasteners. The vest is designed to fit virtually all adult Ruth Lee and Simulaids Rescue Manikins. Additional 2.5 lbs soft weight packets may be added to or subtracted from the vest to give trainees a wide variety of manikin weights. The vest is designed to allow for heavyweight manikins when learning or practicing patient handling, and lighter weights when the training emphasis is on rescue techniques. Lighter weight manikins don't wear down students as much as heavier manikins, so more training procedures may be attempted. Styled like a lifejacket, the vest is attached to the training manikin using a lace up design. This type of attachment has been proven to be the most secure adjustment method that fits the greatest size range of manikins.
