Do I need to upgrade my AED Software?
AED software often needs to be upgraded over time. Every five years the American Heart Association reviews the latest research and updates their emergency cardiac care guidelines. After a review AED units may need to be re-programmed with the latest software.
The most recent guideline update was in 2015. To learn more about whether or not your AED offers the latest standards, how to check the version and status of your unit’s software, and make any necessary updates, contact our customer care department at (800) 544-0048.

Hello-
How can I find out if my AED’s are no longer under warranty, the first group were purchased in 2006?

Hello Marsha – the best way to find out if your AED is still under warranty is to contact the manufacturer. However, we can tell you that the longest warranty in the industry is 8 years, so unit purchased prior to 2013 are most likely no longer under warranty. This doesn’t mean it won’t work – as long as you can still purchase fresh pads and batteries for the unit, it should still operate; however, you may want to consider trading in your unit on a new one.

I purchased a new battery that took some time to receive. It was supposed to be a direct replacement even though the part number is not the same however it does fit. Now I get a flashing red and a cannot communicate with battery from the unit.
I did not have this issue the last time I did a battery replacement.
How can this be resolved?
Thanks,
Tim
