Yes, AEDs are safe to use on anyone.
Children: Children under age 8 and less than 55 lbs do require special pediatric electrode pads or a special AED accessory to “dial down” the power to levels appropriate to their size.
Someone who is wet: AEDs can function on someone who is wet with the right precautions in place.
Pregnant person: An AED can be used on a pregnant person with the correct modifications in place.
