Philips Healthcare discontinued the HeartStart XL+ Defibrillator/Monitor (Model 861290) for sale in the United States only beginning on May 1, 2015, and will continue to support U.S. customers for service, support, upgrades, supplies, accessories, and spare parts through January 31, 2020. The HeartStart XL+ Defibrillator/Monitor continues to be sold outside the United States.
Cardiac emergencies are usually stressful, chaotic events, and the last thing you need to worry about is if your defibrillator is ready for use. The Philips Heartstart XL+ Defibrillator/Monitor has been designed for Resuscitation and Rapid Response teams. It features meaningful innovations that will help you effectively and confidently respond to patients and situations throughout the hospital.
The Heartstart XL+ uses a similar interface, alarms, as well as identical cables and accessories as the MRx and other Philips monitors. Because it is built on a scalable platform you can customize your XL+ with the functions that best meet the needs of your staff, from BLS responders to ALS clinicians.
Features like a fast battery recharge time, easily visible "ready" indicator and power status show the XL+ is ready for use. Biphasic defibrillation therapy and synchronized cardioversion make the XL+ the only defibrillator in AED mode that can defibrillate any patient - adult, child, or infant - with no special pads or accessories required.
The XL+ Base Model Defibrillator/Monitor Kit Includes:
• Manual and AED operation
• Multifunction Therapy Cable
• 3-Lead ECG monitoring with included monitoring pads or electrodes
• Integrated AC Power
• Lithium-ion Battery
• Test Plug
• CD with Application Notes, Learning Products, Instructions for Use
• One Roll of Printer Paper
• SMART Biphasic waveform for defibrillation
The Heartstart XL+ uses many of the same accessories available for the Heartstart MRx, allowing for familiarity and ease of use.
