Training Combat Application Tourniquet (C-A-T) - Blue (GEN 7)

This is a training tourniquet for learning how to use the Combat Application Tourniquet. A perfect adjunct to the Public Access Bleeding Control Trainer by North American Rescue.

The Combat Application Tourniquet is the fastest, safest, most effective prehospital field tourniquet and the official tourniquet of the U.S. Army. This tourniquet has been proven to be 100% effective in occluding blood flow in both upper & lower extremities by the U.S. Army’s Institute of Surgical Research. The new single routing buckle allows for faster application, decreased blood loss, effective slack removal, fewer windlass turns, and simplified training with single protocol application standards.

The C-A-T includes reinforced windlass, stabilization plate, windlass clip, and writeable windlass security strap. The C-A-T also features NAR's signature Red Tip Technology® elliptical tab which provides added visual clues during application.
