The Life/form® Venatech IM & SubQ Simulator is an innovative and affordable simulator. It has been designed to be realistic in nature and includes a real chance for aspiration. There is actual fluid in vessels located deep within the simulated tissue, so there is a real possibility of seeing simulated blood in the hub of the needle on aspiration. Students will be able to develop those critical thinking skills they have learned through theoretical knowledge training and put those skills to use in a simulated clinical situation. The device fits on the area of the deltoid muscle as well as the vastus lateralis, rectus femoris, ventrogluteal, and dorsogluteal areas for realism.
