Philips Healthcare Introduces the Heartstart FR3: Faster, Easier, Better!!!

Philips Healthcare announces the eagerly-awaited Heartstart FR3 is now available in the US. The smallest and lightest professional-grade AED among leading global manufacturers, the FR3 has been designed to be rugged, reliable, and to support the rescuer every step of the way.

The FR3 helps you deliver therapy faster by reducing deployment time. How is the FR3 faster, you may ask? You can set it up to power-on by opening the lid of the carry case (with optional rigid system case). The pre-connected peel-and-place Smart Pads III have no foil pouch to tear open. Just peel off the adhesive back and place the pads on the patient. The same pads are used for adult and pediatric rescues (with optional pediatric key), so there is no need to swap pads. And Philips exclusive “Quick Shock” reduces CPR interruptions and speeds shock delivery.

How does the FR3 make the rescuers job easier, you may ask? Well, among major global manufacturers, it is the smallest and lightest (3.5 lbs) professional-grade AED on the market, making it easier to carry along with other equipment. The bright, high-res color LCD screen helps in noisy environments. The daily, weekly, and monthly self-checks ensure the FR3 is ready when needed. The IP55 rating means it can withstand the physical demands of the rescue professional. The long-life battery, CPR metronome, available bilingual configuration, and extensive upgradability round out the features that are desired by those who want optimal performance in an AED, now and in the future.

All this and more makes the Philips Heartstart FR3 the better choice when considering your next AED investment. Welcome to the next generation in lifesaving equipment! Visit this link for the FR3 Online Demonstration.

My name is Toki. I work for Edgewood ISD in San Antonio Texas as an athletic trainer. School district issued AED to all athletic trainers to carry all the time for just in case, but it is big. We have cardiac science and lifepack AED. I just saw the web site and I am curious to see actual product.
