Our latest round of scholarship finalists made it exceptionally difficult to select just one winner from the over 1300 applications we received. Some of the essays caught our attention, but we kept coming back to one of the videos. The message, creativity, editing, and style of this video show how much effort must have gone into it.
That said, we are pleased to announce the winner of our January 2018 scholarship is awarded to Megan Stuff, who is planning to attend SUNY-Cortland in the fall. An avid athlete all her life, Megan is looking to first earn a bachelor’s in exercise science, followed by the pursuit of a doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has been an active member of her school’s National Honors Society, helping her community food bank, clothing drives, and animal rescue projects.
We hope you will take a few minutes to watch Megan’s video. We think you will be entertained while still learning something. After seeing Megan’s sense of humor, we are sure her physical therapy patients will enjoy their sessions with her in the future. Congratulations, Ms. Stuff!
