American Red Cross Online Training Returning to Work During COVID-19 Safe Work Practices

The COVID-19 pandemic has been challenging employees and businesses in new ways. As employees may be going back to work, there may be questions regarding the measures needed to maintain safe and healthy workplaces.

To help during this time, the American Red Cross is offering a “Returning to Work During COVID-19: Safe Work Practices” online course. This course is based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The course provides safety actions that employees may take during the reopening and also includes insight into new or modified business procedures and policies that are implemented to maintain safe work environments. This course is designed to help employers and employees prevent a resurgence in cases of COVID-19, as well as keep individuals, families, and communities safe as businesses reopen and workers return to their workplaces.

The course should take approximately 60 minutes to complete and upon completion, students will receive a certificate that is valid for two years.
