Overview:

The AHA 2025 Heartsaver Total First Aid/CPR/AED Online course provides convenient, high-quality training to meet workplace or regulatory requirements. Students complete interactive online modules followed by a separate, in-person skills session led by an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor. Completion of both components earns a Heartsaver course completion card that meets OSHA and other U.S. regulatory standards. The course reflects the 2025 AHA Guidelines for CPR & ECC to ensure the latest science and training practices.

Learning Objectives:
Students who successfully complete the course will be able to:

• Deliver high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

• Use an AED correctly for all age groups

• Provide first aid for emergencies such as heart attack, breathing problems, severe bleeding, shock, and stroke

• Identify and treat choking in adults, children, and infants

• Safely remove protective gloves and assess an injured or ill person

• Control bleeding, apply bandaging, and use an epinephrine pen

• Recognize common illnesses, injuries, and lifestyle risk factors

• Understand basic legal considerations for first aid providers
