AHA 2025 Heartsaver First Aid Online Key Code

Overview:

The AHA 2025 Heartsaver® First Aid Online Key Code provides the online component of the updated Heartsaver First Aid blended-learning course. Based on the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR & ECC, this self-paced program uses realistic simulations, animations, and interactive activities to teach critical first aid skills. After completing the approximately three-hour online session, participants attend a hands-on skills class with an AHA-certified BLS or Heartsaver Instructor for practice, scenarios, and testing. Completing both parts earns a Heartsaver First Aid completion card valid for two years.

Learning Objectives:
Students will learn how to:

• Understand the basics of first aid and the role of first responders

• Identify and care for medical emergencies (heart attack, stroke, breathing difficulties)

• Manage injury emergencies, including bleeding, fractures, and burns

• Provide care during environmental emergencies such as extreme heat or cold, and poisoning incidents

• Apply first aid skills with confidence at work, at home, or in the community
