A first aid kit and an AED shall be available in a secure, easily accessible location within the Detention Facility. A medical training program or suitable alternative shall be established for Detention Facility personnel, such as first aid, CPR or any other available programs that will aid in the recognition of signs and symptoms of and knowledge of action required in potential emergency situations. All personnel shall maintain certification for life-saving techniques and devices.
