2019 AHA Compliant CPR Training Manikins and CPR feedback Devices
Browse our selection of CPR manikins equipped with CPR feedback devices. These tools are designed to enhance the quality of your CPR training and ensure compliance with AHA requirements. As of January 2019, the American Heart Association has mandated the use of an instrumented directive feedback device (providing instant feedback) in all courses teaching adult CPR skills. While many older manikins lack these devices, our new range of CPR manikins and dummies, listed below, incorporate real-time feedback devices. These devices effectively communicate the correct compression depth to both students and instructors.
You can also confidently train with any of our other CPR manikins or dummies for sale, offered by top manufacturers such as PRESTAN and Laerdal Medical.
In August of 2017, the AHA announced new equipment requirements in order to teach CPR certification courses starting January 31, 2019. In a nutshell, in order to be compliant, an instructor needs to use an instrumented directive feedback device. The AHA defines these devices this way: “An instrumented directive feedback device measures compression rate, depth, hand position, recoil, and chest compression fraction and provides real-time audio or visual feedback (or both) on these critical CPR skills. A feedback device can be integrated into a manikin or serve as an accessory to a manikin.” The following CPR manikins are equipped to satisfy the requirements set forth by the AHA for certification training:
