The Welch Allyn® Pediatric Energy Reducer (for the Welch Allyn AED 10 & AED 20) is one of the reasons the Welch Allyn® AED 10™ is so economical to own over time. Most other defibrillator brands offer pediatric electrode pads for younger patients, but like most adult electrode pads, they need to be replaced with a fresh set every two years or after every use.
The Welch Allyn Energy Reducer allows you to use one size of electrode pads for all situations. When encountering a patient under the age of eight, just plug the reducer onto the electrode pad plug and you've got pediatric capability!
Once you're finished, put the reducer back into its case and it's ready again. Use it over and over...it never "expires." Includes heavy duty nylon carry case (not shown). |
