Online courses from the Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) are approved by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP.) Online CPR and AED Training provides helpful knowledge on the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) in an emergency as well as CPR skills. It's great training for new AED owners and users or those who would find an online in-service beneficial.

While this course does not provide certification in CPR or the use of an AED, the information offered is invaluable to anyone who may have to use an AED in an emergency. This online course is part of the blended certification program also offered by ECSI and the AED Superstore but without the instructor-led skills test. This online training is fully interactive and students may complete the course in a single session, or break it down into several sessions until completed.
